In addition to our direct FSBI/FSBP experience, we have direct experience in transitioning Wounded Warriors into the civilian market via non-profit operations. Welcome Home Heroes required the principals and team members of AMC to rapidly develop Memorandums of Understandings and inter-agency policy and program agreements with; Army Divisional Command, Warriors in Transition Battalions (WTB), Occupational Therapy, JAG, DoD, Army MEDDAC, Command, Army Garrison, Department of the Army and civilian agencies. Wounded Warriors are one of the greatest potential employment sources for the FSBP program. This relationship makes AMC is uniquely suited for the task of developing programs and initiating new relationships for Our Clients, in addition to assisting by performing training and transitional assistance utilizing our long developed resources in this regard.

AMC and its partners have been the Chief Consulting and Implementation Partner for several organizations providing most of the functions requested in the NISH RFP. Our largest client American Communities Inc., out of Bedford, Oregon, utilized us to develop all aspects of their Community Development plans at Fort Drum, Fort Riley and Fort Sill. In these locations we performed initial market and business model analytics including the generation of Constraint Map, Master Program Development Task Matrix and utilized these elements into their Deployment Activities. These activities included Sales and Marketing case development, Public Affairs and Government Affairs development and engagement, Sustainment Modeling with resource and solution acquisition and engagement, as well as direct project implementation. We independently developed market feasability and business model feasabilty/capacity analytics, as well as assiting in third-party reports. The total American Communities Inc. portfolio was valued at over $500M.
In addition to American Communities Inc, AMC and its partners were hired as a chief consulting agency to Alman Properties and their investment partner Clearwater Investments of Eagle, Idaho, and continue to be engaged on their behalf. During our engagement we performed market and portfolio assessments that included the generation of Map and Matrix for each portfolio location. |
We subsequently performed varying levels of Community Design functionality and market specific consulting. We also performed minor public affairs activities and lender and investor interface. We assisted in the development and presentation of market, financial and logistical feasibility documents. Their Portfolio was valued at over $75M.
AMC and its partners currently support the operations of 3rd party management of multi-family housing in 37 locations including; Kansas City, Kansas (7 locations-1796 units), Lawrence , Kansas (5 locations-570 units), Fort Hood, Texas (3 locations-796 units), Houston, Texas (6 locations-1723 units), Austin, Texas (384 units), Dallas, Texas (2 locations-472 units), San Marco/Plano, Texas (2 locations-1046 units), Arlington/Fort Worth, Texas (3 locations-1100 units), St. Louis, Missouri (2 locations-556 units), Springfield, Illinois (322 units), Tempe, Arizona (4 locations-476 units) and others. Operational support includes process and policy review and implementation, employee hiring and training, ongoing day-today operational oversight and sustainment. This operation also supports the engagement and acquisition of additional 3rd party business for the business unit. Our partners also currently support the public affairs and marketing efforts of clients such as Hilton Waterfront- Huntington Beach, Professional Community Management (PCM), Lennar Homes, Makar Properties, multi-family developer Wood Partners and The Irvine Company.
Skyscapes of Springfield engaged AMC and its partners to do project and market evaluation for several projects over 2 years, including market and financial modeling for $22M multi-use complex in Overland Park, Kansas and a $80M multi-family complex in Springfield, Missouri.
Additionally, AMC and its partners have supported the international expansion of services in several international locations. We supported WTF-Kurdistan in the development and deployment of all concrete schools and also in Sudan. Our partners have ongoing involvement with the development of Hotel and Resort in Costa Rica and are currently engaged with US State Department to develop a Contract Mentoring Program, slated for deployment in 2011 (pending funding).
Bringing all these skill sets together, AMC has been a proud partner to Fort Riley in the FSBP Development
and Implementation Process.
Starting January 2008 AMC and its partners began developing programs and facilities in support of the emerging FSBI program. In April 2009 AMC partnered with BVS to respond to a Fort Riley RFQ for FSBI. In September 2009, AMC independently developed and then supported our partner’s procurement and award of the FSBP contract at Fort Riley, Kansas. Since award, AMC has been developing installation specific programs based on the AMCPD and CMP templates and SOPs for implementation of the Fort Riley Program. In the first 60 days of implementation we performed and led briefs on behalf of BVS to the Command Group and Brigades; performed over 5,000 room inspections; implemented Multiple Full Scale Operations including initial Hiring, Training and Program Stand-Up, Assignment and Termination of Brigade Areas, Maintenance Activities such as Key Control and Snow Removal, Custodial Support Activities, Functionality Reporting, Deficiencies Identification; and provided corrective actions and negotiated differing modifications on behalf of the Prime 8(a) until March 2010. We were engaged in the activities required of the RFQ and PWS meeting and exceeding the standard of care required to meet the objectives of the Army. |
